广西维罗白泥是一种软质高岭土，也可以叫软质球状耐火粘土，维罗白泥（球粘土）主要化学成分为SiO2（二氧化硅）含量45.3~51.6%，Al2O3（三氧化二铝）含量26~36.8%，Fe2O3（三氧化二铁）0.65~2.2%，K2O+Na2O<1.5%。
广西白泥的成分为无序高岭（70%—95%）其次为石英（<30%)以及微量的钛铁矿物。矿物颗粒细小—2μm的颗粒含量大于70%，部分矿段可达95%以上《其中高岭石的粒度均小于2μm，平均粒度为0.98μm。广西白泥可塑型指数>30，一般为34—36，最高可达57。
